An Audio Contemplation from Doing Grief in Real Life
It’s been said that infants commune with angels, that babies and toddlers are protected by spiritual powers from beyond. This seems only right when one considers the vulnerability of the newborn. Angel theories aside, as an infant, your fate rests mostly in the arms of your intimate caregivers.
Despite your reliance on those you depended upon for love, protection, and nourishment, like most infants, it’s likely you also displayed heroic resilience and profound genius when it comes to healing grief.
This audio contemplation guides you to celebrate your arrival on planet earth as an infant and (from your adult perspective) to welcome yourself here. It’s a first step to reconnecting with the healing genius of the infant within you. It’s a way to love yourself from the very beginning.
Self-Care: Before listening, you may want to create a quiet, healing space for yourself. You may want to gather paper and pen/cil to reflect in writing. Use this meditation as it’s useful to you. You know your healing path better than anyone.
