Dear subscribers: My apologies. I haven’t blogged for awhile. That doesn’t mean I take you for granted. Quite the opposite. Every time I get a new subscriber on my blog, I do a little dance of joy. It is a highlight of my day.
In way of explanation for my absence in your inbox, I could tell you that I have been busy building my new nonprofit, Doing Grief, or tending my intimate relationships with family and friends, or getting back to my racewalking, or cooking more, or reading some great novels, or taking better care of myself. It’s all true. I have.
But the real reason I haven’t blogged for awhile, is that sometimes I get overwhelmed with the onslaught of words we have to navigate in our world today. So many words and not enough silence. Not enough time to focus on the words that really matter – the words that fling our hearts and minds wide open to hope, joy, meaning, love.
So, give me a minute. I’ll be back. And meanwhile, may you light upon words that really matter to you today, and may you clear some silence to allow the words that matter to seep into your soul like a beacon of healing light.
– Until next time, Shea
